Movement+Mindfulness: Lakeside Scream + Release
Friday June 5, 2026 8:00am - 8:45am EDT
Born from a memorable Breastie magic moment between Karah and Nancy, The Lake Scream & Release session is a powerful, community-centered ritual designed to help Breasties let go of what they’ve been quietly carrying. In this safe, and judgment-free space, participants are invited to release fear, grief, anger, exhaustion, uncertainty—or anything else weighing heavy on them—through grounding, reflection, collective expression, and symbolic release. This session is about reminding ourselves that we are not alone in what we carry, and that we do not have to hold it all by ourselves.

Together, we’ll begin with a gentle grounding practice by the lake, connecting to nature and setting personal intentions. Each participant will receive a “burden stone” to hold what they may be ready to release, followed by a collective lake scream—an opportunity to physically and emotionally let it out alongside fellow Breasties who understand. Participants will then choose a personal release ritual, whether washing their stone in the water, leaving it behind, or fully immersing in the lake. The experience concludes with a grounding intention-setting moment, where Breasties will receive a second keepsake stone carrying a word of hope, softness, strength, or healing to take with them long after Camp ends. All are welcome—whether you come to scream, reflect, witness, or simply be held in community.

Movement+Mindfulness: Morning Cacao Ceremony + Intention Setting
Friday June 5, 2026 8:00am - 8:45am EDT
Opening the Heart | Setting the Tone | Welcoming the Weekend

Join us as we begin our Camp Breastie weekend with a grounding and heart-opening Cacao Ceremony designed to welcome you into the space, connect you to your intentions, and unite us in community. Led by holistic practitioner and Journey with Cacao co-founder Ally Lyons, this ceremony is a sacred invitation to slow down, open your heart, and begin the weekend from a place of presence, curiosity, and connection.

Cacao—known as “The Food of the Gods”—is a gentle, sacred plant medicine that supports emotional healing, creative insight, and deeper self-awareness. During this opening circle, we’ll sip ceremonial-grade cacao together, reflect on our personal and collective intentions, and create space for the medicine to show us what we need—individually and as a community.

Expect mindfulness, intention setting, gentle movement or breathwork, and meaningful moments of sharing—all held in a loving, supportive container.

Let this ceremony be your grounding moment—a soft yet powerful start to a weekend of transformation and soul-nourishing connection.

Workshop: Bobbie Breasties Advocacy
Friday June 5, 2026 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT
If you can’t breastfeed, insurance covers a pump. But not infant formula or donor milk. What the f*#k?

When Bobbie uncovered this policy gap in the Affordable Care Act, and The Breasties saw firsthand how many families were falling through it, we made a promise: fight like hell to change it.

Since 2020, the Bobbie Breasties program has provided medically necessary infant feeding support, education, resources, and community for parents impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers navigating newborn parenthood. Six years, 615 Bobbie Breasties, and more than $1 million in formula donations later, we’ve turned support into advocacy, co-creating and introducing legislation in Congress. If passed, the Constance C. McDaniel Medically Necessary Infant Formula and Donor Milk Act (Connie’s Bill) would create a pilot program to help cover donor milk and infant formula for families impacted by medical necessity.

Join Michele Lampach, Director of Bobbie for Change, and The Breasties for a conversation about the work we’ve built together, why this fight matters, how Connie’s Bill would work, and what you can do to help move it forward. Come learn, ask questions, and find out how to get involved in creating change.

Learn more about Connie's Bill here!

Mini-Panel: Wellness, Your Way: A Balanced Approach To Lifestyles For Support (And Not Stress)
Friday June 5, 2026 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT
From nutrition and movement to alcohol use and environmental exposures, lifestyle factors are often part of the cancer conversation—but knowing where to start (and how far to go) can feel overwhelming.

In this multidisciplinary panel, a medical oncologist, registered dietitian, therapist, and physical therapist will share evidence-based insights and practical strategies for making sustainable lifestyle changes. Together, they’ll address common questions, misconceptions, and the mental load that can come with trying to “do everything right.”

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what’s impactful, what’s flexible, and how to make choices that feel both supportive and sustainable.

Mini-Panel: Behind The Headline: What Sticks & What Gets Missed When Cancer Makes The News
Friday June 5, 2026 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT
Some days, it feels like cancer is everywhere. In the headlines, across your social media feeds, on TV.

But how do you make sense of what you see? This panel brings together journalists with personal cancer experience alongside medical oncologist Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky, creating a conversation at the intersection of medicine, media, and lived experience.

Together, they will explore the gap between clinical reality and what actually makes it into the news cycle, what gets oversimplified, what gets left out, and how incomplete coverage shapes the decisions real Breasties make about their own care.
