About me
Ginny was diagnosed with ER/PR+ HER2- stage I IDC breast cancer in 2019. Her treatment plan included a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. After allowing her body to heal from active treatment, she decided to forgo reconstruction and now lives as a happily flat woman. Ginny has always been a maker – creating things with her hands allows for a creative outlet, and the process of making is a form of mediation. Ginny incorporated art as a form of therapy throughout treatment, and loves sharing her talents with other survivors.
